The learning disabilities friendly nightclub Under the Stars host their first Valentines Ball in Sheffield City Hall’s Grand Ballroom on Thursday 9 February 2012.

Under the Stars is a unique social enterprise run by, and for, people with learning disabilities and have been organising club nights in the region since 2007, making this their fifth birthday. They run monthly nights across the region, including; Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley and Rotherham but this is their first event at Sheffield City Hall.

Entertainment on the night is provided by bands, DJs and comperes made up of adults with learning disabilities. There will be a performances from recently formed ska and pop outfit Clubland Detectives and also long-time collaborators The Stars. Named after the nightclub itself, The Stars play their own songs and covers and have built quite a following since performing at the 2011 Tramlines Festival.

Sheffield City Hall's Grand Ballroom will provide a stunning back drop for people to enjoy a dance with friends and maybe even find some romance!
