ITV's Real Deal Tour makes a stop at EIS Sheffield
King of the daytime TV antique dealers David Dickinson is coming to Sheffield looking for the public to cash in on their collectables for a TV show.
David and his dealers are after some more bobby dazzlers for the Dickinson’s Real Deal show and will be at the English Institute of Sport (EIS) on Saturday September 25.
Back for its sixth series, the most popular daytime show on ITV want people from South Yorkshire to dig their antiques out the attic, dust them off and bring them down to hopefully end the day in the money.
People can take money on the spot from a dealer or if they think their item is worth more take a gamble at auction.
The last time the show was in South Yorkshire, a 19th century photograph album went at auction for a massive £800, and one of David’s dealers paid £1,200 for an 18ct sovereign bracelet and gold chain.
David will be keeping an eye on the deals and giving advice about whether to take the dealers’ cash or sell at auction, but the final decision lies with the contributors who must decide which option is the real deal.
Admission is free for people wanting to attend. David and his team will be at the Badminton Hall at the Sheffield International Venues (SIV) managed English Institute of Sport at Coleridge Road in Attercliffe from 9am-5pm.
For further advice on items call the Dickinson’s Real Deal hotline on 0117 970 7618 or just turn up on the day.
